Personal Cooling Fan for that Last Little Bit of Cooling Without Being Overwhelming
Our family had gone on a vacation overseas. We had gone to various major attractions and it was very hot. We had gone to the malls and it was great because the malls had a lot of cool stores and also the malls had excellent air conditioning. Because we were tourists and on vacation, we were allowed to eat a lot of the more tastier and less healthy foods. To be honest, I didn't know the difference as everything seemed super tasty and delicious to me.

We eventually found a shop that sold handheld folding fans. We bought a bunch of them and thought that they were the coolest things ever. Some had plastic blades and intricate cut outs in them. There were some that had a plastic frame and fabric for the body with really pretty and intricate prints on them. The folding hand fans were really great. I loved them, but they didn't help with cooling as much as I thought they would because the cooling they provided wasn't constant and it required expending muscle energy to keep the cooling going.

Eventually, we kept shopping and found battery operated personal fans with spinning fan blades. I thought these were pretty cool and awesome too. We bought a bunch of them as they were relatively inexpensive. We put the batteries in and turned the switch on and they worked just as expected. They weren't too loud and they generated a nice stream of moving air to keep us cool. But, because they were meant to be portable and pocketable, they didn't have a fan guard for the blades. It wasn't really an issue, but the blades could hurt the skin a bit if they made contact when the fan was on.

Towards the end of our vacation, we were to take my cousin to the airport. I had actually never met this cousin before until this current vacation. She was very nice. We brought our family members and gathered together to send off our cousin. I loved being in the airport as the architecture seemed really beautiful and technologically advanced and it felt like something out of a video game. It was also really intriguing because of the all the interesting shops and food kiosks. I didn't feel a lot of sadness seeing my cousin off because I wasn't very close to this cousin and she was actually flying off to school in our home country. She was immigrating there and would be living with our family once we finished our vacation in a few more weeks.

Not long aftewards, we flew back home and our cousin went to stay with us. We weren't very close to the university, but it wasn't too bad of a commute for my cousin. Sometimes, we would pick her up from the train station and take her home with us. There were a few times we would take her out to dinner with the entire family just to spend some time together.

I loved the battery-operated fan because it reminded me a lot of our vacation overseas and bringing our cousin back to start a new life in our country. I liked how it would keep me cool without having to use muscle energy. After awhile, the fan wasn't used so much and eventually packed away. I found it again some time later and there was a lot of corrosion from the batteries, so I ended up throwing it out.

As I got older, I needed a wee bit of help with cooling. I used to use a larger desktop fan, but it was a little too much and provided too much airflow even at the lowest setting. I probably needed a desktop fan with an ultra low mode or something very near an ultra low mode.

I ended up getting this AC Infinity S4 fan (140mm) and it worked great. It seemed to be really high-quality and had excellent build quality. It was powered by USB and it had an off setting and low, medium, and high modes. I found that I was almost always using the low mode more than the medium mode. To me, the high setting was too loud and made too much of a hum noise because of the high-speed, so I didn't use that mode at all. Most of the time, the low and medium modes worked out great. The fan provided just enough of a breeze to keep me cool. I usually had the air conditioning on to keep the air temperature reasonable in the summer, but I didn't like having the air conditioning on too intensely. I would have the AC Infinity fan on just to help give that little extra bit of cooling. I liked the rubber feet because it kept the fan in place and it served as an anti-vibration system when the fan was on. I ended up using the fan from the Spring until the Autumn. Unlike the battery-operated fan I had as a kid, this one had a fan blade guard.

A Beautiful Letter and Parcel Opener Without Wrecking Your Scissors or Kitchen Knives
When I was a kid, my mom would sometimes order things from a shopping channel or from a magazine. There would be an order form where the credit card information would be entered. At other times, it would be done via telephone and the order information and payment information would be transferred via telephone. 4-6 weeks later and the package of the goods ordered would arrive.

It was exciting to have packages arrive. It was more of a rare thing back in the day. We did not have distribution channels like those available now and with the internet. The package we received would contain various interesting kitchen tools. I would grab a pair of scissors and open the package. For a long time, any items ordered would arrive packaged in styrofoam packing peanuts. It would be things we could use in the kitchen to work on vegetables and fruits. It wasn't anything too high-tech, but it was a chance for me to help out my mom in the kitchen and that was something that meant a lot to me.

I ended up cutting myself using one of the kitchen tools. It wasn't terrible, but it was difficult to stop the bleeding. My mother grabbed a towel and wrapped my hand up and put me in the car and drove to the highway and then she floored it. I had never seen my mother drive like that before. Her face was pale and she had this strange look in her eyes, it was blank but also kinda looked like fear. She kept talking to me, I thought she was mad at me, but she wasn't. She was worried about my safety. She wouldn't look at me directly, just at my injury and then the road ahead. We eventually got to the hospital and the staff took good care of me and were very gentle.

For a long time after that incident, I would open up packages using scissors or a large kitchen knife. Later, I bought a BucknBear damascus steel letter opener. I loved this BucknBear damascus steel letter opener because it was such a beautiful work of art. I loved the swirl and wavy pattern on it. I liked to use it to open the mail and to open thick envelopes and bubble envelopes for items shipped to me. I also used it to open standard cardboard box parcels. I stopped using scissors because I didn't like dulling them or getting a little bit of glue from packing tape onto them. Normally, I would use scissors to make more careful cuts on paper and I enjoyed using them when they didn't have glue or any sticky residue on them. I also didn't want to wreck any of the kitchen knives by using them to cut packing tape or paper tape. I also felt that I had to wash the knives again if I were to use them to open envelopes or packages and to use for food preparation. This letter opener improved my life by making it convenient to open envelopes and packages, without wrecking other tools in the home.

A High-Quality Nail Clipper that Collects Nail Clippings - Made in the USA
Most kids grew up with a loving mother. Maybe not everyone, but most. I was lucky enough to count myself in that former group. My mother would always try to find ways to get us the best experiences in life even if it wasn't always financially feasible. She tried and she would make sacrifices for that to happen. As kids, most of the time we were not totally aware of the sacrifices our mothers and fathers would make behind the scense. We woudl feel that they were taking care of us and loved us and that was all that mattered.

I had dirty fingernails. They weren't filthy, but had dirt and grime under them. Kids just didn't really wash their hands as much as they should. When my fingernails grew long, my mother would sit me on her lap and clip them for me. She would normally cut them over something, a newspaper, sheet of paper or some aluminum or plastic tray. It would be very helpful, but it doesn't catch all of the fingernail clippings. They could be picked up easily enough by feel or using a vaccuum. One time, my mother accidentally cut my fingernail a bit too short and it started bleeding. I started crying and I could tell my mother felt really badly about it. I didn't cry for long, it was more just a reaction to the pain and the bleeding. If it was me cutting my nails, I would have done a much worse job. I am still very thankful for my mother cutting my nails. Knowing my mom and how much she cared for me, I knew this was an accident. The next time she trimmed my fingernails, she was extra careful.

I was not able to find anything in the market that was as nice as these nail clippers. I really like the guards on either side as they prevent fingernail and toenail clippings from flying off on either side of the nailclipper. I like how there is a reservoir to catch the nail clippings. They seem to be really high quality and are really sharp. They are useful as well for getting hangnails. I find I wash my hands a lot more than I used to as a kid and I get hangnails more often than not, especially in the winter. I also like that these are made in the USA and the handle is easy on the fingers when clipping fingernails because they are ergonomic.
